Everything You Need to Know About The Table’s December Events Lineup
Hi The Table Family!
We miss you, and want to celebrate the fun and joy of the Christmas season together, even if we can’t fully gather in person. Below are several events throughout the month of December that we’d love to see you attend! If you have any issues with the following details, links, email addresses, etc. please reach out to me (Katie) at neighborhoods@tablechurch.com. *Note: the linked email addresses can also be accessed by right clicking and selecting ‘copy email address.’
If none of these events interest you to participate in, but you’d like to simply attend and hang out anyway, please do!

Cookie Decorating with Andi Moller
Date: Sunday, December 6, 2-4pm
Open house style (come when you can, stay as long as you’d like) 2-4pm-ish

Suggested Supplies:
cookie cutters (don’t have any? buy some here or here)
sugar cookie dough (here’s a recipe or buy some pre-made dough here or pre-cut)
frosting (make your own or buy some here & here)
a flat surface
Internet connection to log into Zoom on the 6th and say hi while you decorate! Link to Zoom will be sent out via email on the 6th.

Gingerbread House Making with Caitlin Brooks
When: Sunday, December 13, 2-4pm

Gingerbread house pieces (here’s a recipe if that’s your style- we recommend a pre-made kit below unless you have a lot of time on your hands!)
Candy to decorate house (and eat as you go!)

Kid Sing-A-Long and Hootenany!, with Elle Tyler & Danny Rankin
When: Sunday, December 20, 10AM
During our Advent service on Zoom, gather some instruments to play and sing together to celebrate the coming of Jesus!

DIY INSTRUMENTS IDEAs
Holiday Happy Hour Show & Tell, hosted by Chris Lang
When: Sunday, December 20, 2-4pm
Show up for your time slot, pop in and out as you’re able, or stay the whole time.
Encourage your kids to sign up too!

Time slots are 15 minutes each and the possibilities are endless! See below for a few ideas.
If you’re having trouble signing up for a time slot but want to participate, email Katie.
Spectators / casual observers HIGHLY encouraged - the more, the merrier!
Ideas to get you started:
Anything is fair game, including showing how to make a favorite mixed drink, playing an instrument, baking/cooking a favorite dish (in 15 minutes?!), kids showing off their favorite stuffies or how to make a snowflake out of paper, giving everyone a tour of a project you've been working on during COVID, anyone who's had a baby during COVID could introduce us to their new kid, etc.
BONUS: Wear an ugly sweater, and bring along a favorite drink and/or snack - let’s keep it all entertaining! More bonus points for a crazy mug or fun snack container.
Christmas Eve Service
When: Thursday, December 24 - 4:30PM
More details in the newsletter and here. We will be reading Scripture, singing, and lighting candles together on Zoom, so you can join safely from wherever you are!

Start gathering candles to light all together during the service!
We’ve got boxes of markers and a small wooden nativity set for you/your kids to color. We also have small white candles and candle holders. If you’d like a nativity set to color or some candles, contact Katie to coordinate.
